Obituary for Joseph Samuel Ricci

Joseph Samuel Ricci, Jr., 66, of Seekonk, passed away at Rhode Island hospital on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

He was the husband of Phyllis Martino.

Joseph was born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph Ricci Sr. and Mary (Arcuri) Ricci.

Mr. Ricci was the former owner of Ricci Asphalt Services.

Joseph enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, making yard art and welding, painting on canvas, and anything mechanical, especially putting motors together. He also treasured spending time with his grandson, Colby.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son; Wesley Ricci of Portsmouth, daughter; Gina and husband William Scott Wallace, step-sons; Jason McKenzie of Florida, and Salvatore Cavallaro of Kentucky, brothers; William Ricci and Joan Crugnale, Gary and wife Jennifer Ricci, and Robert And wife Billie Ricci, sisters; Marilyn and husband William Hassell, and Kathleen and husband Victor Mott, grandchildren; Colby Joseph Wallace, Jason McKenzie, and Brandon McKenzie, and many nieces and nephews.

Also proceeded in death by sister Karen Lee.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

My Deepest Condolences to family and friends.Joe was a very kind hearted cousin in my eyes,always Happy and loving and soft spoken.i will miss him dearly and always treasure our last visit and conversation,between myself and My Mom which is joe aunt which he loved, she will always the same treasure our last conversation and miss Joey deeply.
