Obituary for Pauline M L'Heureux (Bonaventure)

Pauline L’Heureux, 87 years old, of Harrisville, RI, passed away at home on Saturday, January 19, 2019. She lived in Burrillville since 2003. She was the wife of the late Alfred H. L’Heureux. She was born in Central Falls, RI, daughter of the late Joseph Bonaventure and Marie Louise Robichaud. The family owned and operated Bonaventure’s Ice-cream Parlor and Pawtucket, RI.

Pauline was involved in the New England Charismatic Renewal for over 3O Years. She was a former member of St. Patrick’s Prayer group in Providence, coordinator of St. Mary’s Prayer group in Seekonk, and Coordinator of the LaSalette Prayer group and both her and her husband were involved with the music ministry.

She was an active parishioner of St. Theresa’s Shrine in Harrisville where she was the Pro-Life Coordinator and Lector. She was also a Missionary with the Missionaries of the Poor in Kingston, Jamaica for many years.

She enjoyed her trips to Florida in the winter and playing Scrabble with her daughters. She leaves 5 Children, Suzanne M. Kealy of Heath Springs SC, Ronald L’Heureux of Harrisville, RI, Lorraine L. L’Heureux of Elgin, Texas, Dianne R. L’Heureux of Brooksville, FL, and Richard J. L’Heureux of Glendale, RI, 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter, 2 of her 13 Siblings, John Bonaventure and Anthony Bonaventure.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January, 29. 11:00 am at
St. John’s Church on 63 Church St. Slatersville RI. 02876. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Pauline’s Name to:
