William (Bill) Fullaway II, 55 of Barrington, passed away Thursday, June 6 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Bok) Fullaway and adored father of Jordyn (21), Adeline (19) and Gwyneth (12). Bill was also the loving son of Jeanne (Pence) Brushe, the late William Fullaway, and step-father Robert (Bob) Jenkins, and brother to Channing Fullaway and Andrew Jenkins.

After his family, Bill's greatest passions were sailing and coaching wrestling. He was an active member of the Barrington Yacht Club and was an accomplished sailor, completing numerous races throughout the region, as well as six Bermuda races. He was a fixture of Cox Series racing as a skipper and crew on multiple boats, including his own. Bill was also an active wrestling coach at Esek Hopkins Middle School and ardent supporter and mentor to Beat the Streets Providence program.

Bill enjoyed his friends, co-workers, philosophical conversations, music of all types, April Fools day, great craft beer, and a good cup of coffee. He always had a smile for you and he never let the truth get in the way of a good story. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held August 10, 2019 at the Barrington Yacht Club from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Please join us and bring your favorite story(s), or a special photo to share. Every time I saw Bill, he had a smile on his face that was contagious. I was so sorry of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with all of Bill's family at this tremendously difficult time. He talked often of his family, his sailing and most recently brought many of us to tears talking about his work coaching wrestling and making an important impact in the lives of those he touched.

We were blessed to know Bill and know that he will live on in memory and in the difference he made to so many lives. In peace and deepest sadness.
