Cumberland – Yvonne F. (Arnold) LeVasseur, 85,of Cumberland died Monday Dec. 16 2019 at Hope Hospice in Providence.
She was the wife of the late Paul G. LeVasseur.

She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late William J. and Irene (St. John) Arnold Sr.

Yvonne was an Office Manger for Mt. St. Rita health Center in Cumberland for over 20 years, before retiring.

She has lived in Cumberland since 1975 coming from Riverside. She had attended Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Cumberland.

Yvonne had also worked for Donatelli Construction in the office doing bookkeeping, she enjoyed travelling, fine dining and spending time in Newport in September at a time share.

She also liked shopping, and she was a regular at the former Foleys Lounge in Cumberland, she loved dogs.

Yvonne was always neatly and stylishly dressed.

She is survived by her son Scott O’Brien and his wife Carol of Hope, RI.

Mrs. LeVasseur was the grandmother of Chanel O'Brien, Corey O'Brien and Coleton O'Brien.
She is also survived by her great grandson.

She was the mother of the late Kathleen O’Brien, and the sister of the late William Arnold, Agnes Nilsson, and Deborah Garcia.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, December 20,2019 at 11:00 am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.

Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail,Exeter ,RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Flowers are welcome or gifts in her memory may be sent to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI , 02904.
